I really enjoyed the prologue!!! That scene when they get drunk and connect after Lucille tries to pit them against each other is one of my favorites and I think it has even more sexual tension than the scene when she actually jumps him in bed and tells him she wants to marry him. (The emotional connection they have here, and scenes like it, is one of the things I think was missing from season 4, tbh. And not just for Michael/Lindsay but for the whole family.)
I really love that they hooked up in the past, especially since I know you’ll be taking us back there to witness it first hand.
Great tension and characterization here!!

So many happy memories. I love all of their hospital kisses and all of the times they got drunk together and accidentally had more fun than they’d had in a long time.
Michael buying Lindsay at the auction will always be best, even better than the time Lindsay jumped his bones and wanted to marry him.

I was re-watching season 4 of Arrested Development and I made a very exciting discovery: Michael and Lindsay are holding hands in one of the family pictures in the opening credits!!! He’s also smiling at her, which makes me very happy. (I’m the anon who posted about the fanfiction a few months ago, by the way. It’s going pretty well. Right now I’m estimating I’ll finish part one in June.)

I don’t know, maybe it’s impossible for a brother and a sister to do a duet and have it not look romantic, but obviously the director of this scene WASN’T EVEN TRYING.
