I was just watching a British crime programme called Silent Witness when in the second part of a two part episode there was canon incest between the characters Daniel and Yasmin Doshi. I’d been getting heavy incest vibes through both episodes but I didn’t think that it would actually go there. The relationship reminds me of Klaus and Rebekah. The episodes are called Squaring the Circle part one and part two or referred to as series 18 episode 4 parts one and two. I’d definitely check it out.

The Doshis sound very exciting, especially if their relationship reminds you of Klaus and Rebekah.

I’ve never seen Silent Witness before but in terms of the crime they’re investigating I imagine the two-parter will stand alone well enough.

So I watched this last night. (And I really should have been sleeping, but…) and WOW. The Klaus/Rebekah comparison was spot on.

The Doshi storyline stood on its own perfectly well over the two episodes, and I didn’t find that anything to do with the main characters needed context.

Don’t expect a happy ending – it ticked two different boxes on the “incest never ends well” scorecard – but it was very intense and enjoyable.
